2025 is coming in fast

Hi everyone,

Its been ages since I've posted here. Time has flow quickly and between parenting and studies its been a whirlwind of life.

I had good intentions of writing fanfic, but ran out of time due to essays.

I'm 3 units from completing my Masters Degree in Counselling & integrated psychotherapy. So, I now look at the Birds relational patterns, narratives and dominant stories of characters and emerging re-authoring of their stories. From what i have learned, I think I'd write about them differently as a result. I'll be glad to finish formal study in 2025. ( The studies include, Art in therapy, Narrative therapy, Cognitive models, trauma growth). I enjoy working in peoples stories and seeing good outcomes.

2025! I'm wondering how writing is going to occur? Who knows, I'm grateful to fanfiction for helping me improve my writing skills for university.

I hope you're all doing well and leave a post here of what you hope for in 2025.
The fandom has become quieter over the years.... is it because we are growing older and the imaginative child within is diminishing?

Damn! Sounds like you’ve been busy!!

I actually managed to pull off being an empty nester until a couple of years ago when my grandson came to live with me. His name is Phoenix (Nope, not a coincidence!) and is currently seven years old and ASD/ADHD which makes every day an adventure! Personally, I think my kid should have named him Jinpei. Believe me, it fits. Too much energy!

No longer working for the post office due to needing a 9 to 5 job, so now I get to be that evil person at the optometrist who blows air in your eyes. 😈

Here’s hoping that 2025 is an awesome year for all of us!

It was really nice to come here and see some activity happening. I think between the break between things happening with Gatchaman and us getting older has a lot to do with it.
Jason keeps Center Neptune Control pretty active and we've been posting Bradbury jar stuff there as well.
I hope everyone has a good year. I hope for continued good health for myself.
My new Scottish Terrier puppy will be making his show debut this month, so that should be interesting.

Thank you for the reminder about Neptune! I have to go and check that out again too. I wish your puppy luck with it ‘s showing, I know how much work those can be.

I'm hearing you! My son is 6.5yrs old, ASD/ADHD a combination of Nambu's science brain and Jinpei's energy. But he hates bugs so it ends there.

My 13yr old daughter has asked if I could write a D& D story. She decided she liked the plot I outlined better than the recent movie and the angles it could take. (Blushing) We were having a discussion on what we liked about the movie and what we didn't like about it.
She's currently writing her Dungeon Master story, and its looking great!

Lol! Mine doesn’t like bugs either, but damn destroy a computer in no time flat? He’ll do it with a smile on his face!

That’s awesome that your daughter appreciates your creative talents, and is coming into her own!
