C on the assignment? Well, maybe he forgot to read the requirements. Didn't do the 10 point introduction, or missed the part where they said no vertebrates to be used.

Maybe he had to write an essay for it but forgot to. Or perhaps it was riddled with grammatical errors. It's a really cool project, though.

Good points, I noticed how they left the why a C out of it.
As usual the media tries to make the teacher look bad.
I hate to tell you how many amazing talented students I have that do not do the work I assign them. Do you know how much it sucks for me to fail them? I take no pleasure from it.
Thank you for hearing this mini rant. Oh and the kid had a great idea.
