London bombings. Yes again.

Hi folks

If nobody knows, then four small explosions happened in London. Yes again. So far, all I know and please correct me if I am wrong, the explosions were only the detoner only, no injuries, 1 person was seen running away, another was shot at a Underground station and 1 bombs is supposed to be a nail bomb, which doesn't sound like any Muslin fanatic sucide bombers to me.

I hope that anybody in those areas in London are okay.

To clarify the above

1) Al Qaeda have claimed responsibility
2) Man shot was a terrorist suspect however not connected to the 4 failed bombings
3) One person had minor injuries from Thursdays incident
4) Rumour is that the bomb on the bus had nails, nuts and bolts in this is as yet unconfirmed.
5) 1 male has since been arrested after 4 pics were relaesed of Thursdays attempted bombers.

Not much information will be given away by the police which may lead to negative press however, this is due to not wanting to jeopardise any court case (having previously had cases dismissed because of media coverage and the judge feeling that the accused would not receive a fair trial.

Hope this clarifies some of the above. Apologies but I am in a position whereby even if I know more I can not share due to official secrets and the above. (We all want the person to be fairly trialed and not have any bias)

Thanks Firebird and now for updates, stupid bombers, who couldn't blow up a balloon are being caught by the police as we speak.

I wouldn't be surprise if Al Qaeda takes responsibility for the tornado that hit Birmingham and King's Heath (just outside Birmingham).

For those not aware. A number of people have been remanded in custody with charges ranging from conspiracy to commit murder to Conspiriring to withold important information. The former relates to a group of people who were aware of what the five people had done and hid them from the authorities and assisted in one case them to leave the country.

The trial starts November 14th and the big issue will be finding a fair and impartial jury.

There is also discussion about using old laws to deal with extremist clerics that have often over the last few weeks advertised on television their support for the bombings. One of the laws being looked at is treason.
