InfiniT Force Episode 6, now streaming!
Hi all!
Viz and Tubi TV are both now streaming Infini-T Force episode 6, "Infini-T Force." Here is the episode synopsis and links to both sites. Enjoy!
"The ever eccentric Damian makes an unexpected return, reminding Ken and Emi their futures are in peril. Feeding on fear, Damian renders Ken nearly powerless, but not before submitting him and Emi to psychological warfare and his own twisted ambition."

I've finally caught up on the series, thanks to the episodes being available on facebook.
Unfortunately, facebook does this thing about three-quarters of the way through each episode where it imposes a "more videos" button smack over the middle of the subtitles, but being annoying is basically a ground state for facebook, so I shouldn't be surprised.
So far I'm enjoying the way the situation is gradually unfolding. The character development is progressing and Emi-sue is either getting slightly less irritating, or maybe I'm just getting used to her.
Thus far, nobody seems to be concerned with the possibility that the Big Bad is watching their every move via the cameras installed in the house where they're staying.
Ken is still adorkable. I like this version of him. I also liked Tetsuya's character development in Ep 6. He's shed the mantle of emo kid, and that's a good thing. (I liked the call-back to avocado pasta.)
As for Z, if sitting in a chair looking broody ever becomes an Olympic event, he's a shoe-in for gold.

Episode 4 made me think there was hope for Emi and in episode 6 I think we see she has made some emotional progress!
I agree about the nonchalance regarding the cameras in the house.

Everyone seems to be making emotional progress except for Big Weird Clockwork Dude, who has gone from Monstrously Menacing Henchman to taking over the Emo Kid mantle from Tetsuya.
Dude's all like, "Hey, little girl, you gunna help me off your old man for, like, reasons?"
And Emi's like, "Whatevs."
And the heroes are like, "Whoa, hold up, there. What reasons, Big Weird Clockwork Dude guy?"
And he's like, "Reasons which I'm not gunna tell ya."
And they're all, "Nope."
So he's all, "Now we're gonna fight because I HAVE DADDY ISSUES!"
And I'm like, "Okay, that was weird."

Daddy issues was certainly a thing in Gatchaman. Perhaps in the other shows as well?

Certainly in Casshan. We should have written Tetsuya's dad into Mad Scientists Anonymous. He had a penchant for sticking people's souls into cybernetic constructs - he turned his kid into a neoroid (who can't taste pasta) and his wife into a swan.
Because reasons.
Definitely not one for regular family activities such as going hiking or visiting the zoo.
"Aw, gee, Dad, it's raining."
"Hey, I know! Let's turn someone into an abomination!"
"Yay! Is it my turn yet?"

I was thinking that episodes 5 and 6 had some good fight scenes and character interaction but not a whole lot of plot development, though that sure changed in the final 30 seconds of episode 6. Looking forward to finding out what Z is up to next...
Interesting that Damian picked Ken as the one he thought Emi would give up her wish for, in order to save his life. He does seem to be turning into her substitute father/older brother figure, whether she wants that or not. Yes, Daddy Issues galore!
There's something very sweet about the concept that she sees Ken as a father figure, given his own past.
I oddly enjoyed hearing Damian call him "Mr. Ken" as well, hehe.
