An Infini-T Force Update
Hi all!
During this last week, we’ve been treated to a couple more announcements regarding Infini-T Force. To start with, five more characters for the series have been announced. Included among these is the heroine Emi, who has been one of the major protagonists of the Infini-T Force manga. The other four are villains who will be creating problems for our heroes during the series. Here’s what they had to say about them, along with a few short comments from their voice actors regarding their roles.
Emi Kaido
(Character Voice: Ai Kayano)

A high school girl who lives in modern day Shibuya.
She has no interest in anything, and always has a cold attitude, behavior which keeps other people away.
A Comment From Ai Kayano:
This year is the 55th anniversary of Tatsunoko Production, and I am honored to appear in this commemorative work!
I want to play Emi well, so I don’t disappoint the expectations of those who love these heroes.
I hope you’ll enjoy it.
Raja Kaan
(Character Voice: Hiroki Yasumoto)

A giant at more than 3 meters tall, he looks like an ugly monster.
A Comment From Hiroki Yasumoto
I am well versed in the men who have been gathered together.
There is no reason not to be excited. Please look forward to the kind of drama it will entail.
I have a very tricky role.
I intend to enjoy myself fully.
Damien Gray
(Character Voice: Daisuke Hirakawa)

Dressed in flashy fashion like Visual Kei, he speaks in a mixture of characteristic words from foreign languages.
A Comment From Daisuke Hirakawa:
This is Daisuke Hirakawa, who is supposed to be in charge of the role of Damian Gray.
Damian is a character with a few quirks, and I feel a sense of challenge and difficulty for myself.
Not lost in the strength of the full 3DCG visuals is the pride and gratitude of those involved in Tatsunoko Production’s 55th anniversary work, and I will give it my whole heart and soul.
Belle Lynn
(Character Voice: Kana Hanazawa)

Though it cannot be imagined from her beautiful appearance, she possesses an extremely high combat strength.
A Comment From Kana Hanazawa:
I’m looking forward to seeing how I engage with the heroes, and how I fight them.
I’m happy because I haven’t played many mysterious, beautiful, sexy ladies!!
Z
(Character Voice: Atsushi Ono)

A mysterious man who acts behind the scenes in the strange happenings all around the world.
Everything about his true identity is unknown, he is called “Z,” the last letter of the alphabet.
A Comment From Atsushi Ono:
I was 1-year-old when Tatsunoko Production was born.
I’d never imagined that now, 55 years later, I’d encounter them, and we would work together to commemorate that event.
I’m happy for so much more.
I get to oppose four great heroes, including Gatchaman, for which I was a big fan. With no hesitation, I will rampage fully!
The other piece of Infini-T Force news is that Udon Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing an English translated version of the manga.
The first volume will be released in September, however, for those who are attending Anime Expo, Udon will have a special limited edition version available to purchase. Limited to 300 copies, this version will have a special cover with soft touch lamination, silver foil logos, and 3D spot gloss. People who purchase it at Anime Expo will also be given one of four different Infini-T Force clear files produced by Hero’s Magazine, the publisher for Infini-T Force in Japan.
Volume 1 will run 244 pages, and retails at $13.99, plus tax. Udon will release volume 2 in December, with subsequent volumes coming in 2018.
As a reminder, Anime Expo is being held in Los Angeles next weekend. Aside from the special release of the manga, the convention will also host a "World Premiere Event" for the TV series on Saturday, July 1st at 5:30pm. Attending this premiere will be series Chief Director, Kiyotaka Suzuki, and Ken’s voice actor, Tomokazu Seki. If any of you are able to attend, be sure to let us know all about it!
More later, I’m sure.
James

I'm looking forward to that too. I'm interested in the series, and I think my kids would love it too.
Emi Kaido- I find her character description interesting. I had thoughts of her being ASD. Not really able to socialise effectively, but her world is rich and she has a heart. She wants to help others so can't really be that 'cold' inside. Just how others around her perceive it. (Character developing already! I haven't see it yet.)
