Hello New Friends?
Hi.
Since I'm new here - and to forums in general - "introductions" seemed a great place to start!
So, a bit about me. I live in Australia, where there don't appear to be a lot of people who know what Gatchaman is.
I first came to this crazy fandom through Battle of the Planets when I was very young. I recall playing with the older boys at pre-school, so maybe 4 years old. I always wanted to be Jason, but the boys insisted I was a girl, so I had to be Princess!
I discovered Gatchaman in my twenties and immediately fell in love with the original version of the show, and the characters, especially Joe. When I reached episode 105 it brought me to tears!
This year I have finally been able to see Gatchaman II, and Fighter. Over the last 12 months I have been discovering all the awesome fan fiction you guys have been writing, which has inspired me to write some stuff of my own.
I'm looking forward to being part of a community that will understand my love of all that is Gatchaman!

Don't be so certain as to the quantity of BotP / KNTGatchaman fans down under. When I lived in Melbourne, I did manage to find one or two others...
That - and there is at least one other Aussie active in these online conversations!

Don't think wrong, in the English speaking world there are many Gatvhaman fans. It's in the Spanish speaking countries that we are a rare specie!!! Nobody knows the show or manga!

Hi Katblu42 its great to see another Aussie around here! Looking forward to seeing your posts. I'm yet to see some of later versions (since the kids took over the TV for a while.)
I'm a Swan of course and as girl I loved Mark, later I love both the Eagle and the Condor.
