Angry Ruddy Gremlins

Hi All, As you know there have been an unusual number of errors on the site in the past few weeks and it has got to the point where I am seriously considering moving hosts. The site itself is fine, as is the database behind it. However for some bizarre reason our host is turning our site off randomly. This I have been told is an issue with the site, but since the site hasn't had a change in years and the database is always optimised I think its actually more to do with their recent upgrades then anything else. Anyway I will be looking at all the options for the site to make it more reliable in future. Thanks for your patience.

Cep, if you're investigating new servers, can you also please look at adding back the functionality we had previously? We're still missing all attachments, and many posts get corrupted with weird characters.

When was the last time you updated the CMS for the message board itself? It's possible that the version of php that is used to write the MB program may be incompatible with the version of php your host has on their servers, and that's what's causing the issues and loss of functionality.
