It was nice weather for me b-day, but now it's averaging to be in the upper 90s - the heat index pushes it up even further. However I still think it beats the cold by far. Poor southern hemisphere people. Guess you'll have to come up here to Texas to poledance, Imi! Plenty warm for ya!

Let's face it, here in Britain we hate all the weather on principle.
The child and I spent saturday afternoon in an open air swimming pool - bliss. And most of the weekend on a very nice campsite, coated in strong sunblock. We had a great time.,

Now, see, here in Texas, apartment complexes have swimming pools and air conditioners. I think it's against the law to not have these things. (Actually, it's not, but I'm lucky to live in cheap housing that does. However, it's in the works, as we're having more and more elderly dying of heat strokes. 
)
So...what's the average summer temperature for ya'll around there? I have a Celsius/Farenheit converter if I need to cheat. ^_^

Soooo...30 Celcius is approximately 86 degrees...tomorrow's high here is predicted to be 98. I wish I was in Britain (doesn't everyone, though?)! Besides, ya'll have some pretty cool churches/cathedrals there with nice organs.
However...the hailstorms in 86 degrees is kind of weird. In fact, hail around here is weird in total.
I think that not only do the British hate the weather, but that the weather hates the British. It's true! It's true!

We Brits are a pathetic lot when it comes to the weather. Largely because we never have one kind for long enough to learn to deal with it. For example, I wouldn't care at all to have 6 months of snow every winter like parts of Canada, but I suspect because they are so used to it there, that it isn't much of a problem.
But the flash floods at the end of the weekend caught everyone by surprise because we don't normally get those.
And my manager's rabbit died of heat prostration.

About 3/4 years ago, we had 2 small tornados here in bloxwich (not at the same time of course), nothing like you lot get in the US.
This is why we hate the weaher, because it just can't be nice but one extreme or the other extreme.
