It's not as far as I'm aware. I know some people are having issues posting new fics there, but as far as reading existing fics go, it works ok.

Chris and I have both had issues getting to the site at all this week. There is probably a server out there that is having resolution issues and not being able to find the site. The other day when I switched from the wifi where I was to my cell connection I could get to the site, but the wifi couldn't find it.

I put in gatchafanfic.com and the website does not come up, just some advertisements! It's the weirdest thing! I tried my bookmark, same thing! I'll try again....maybe it's the server.

I had to try every once in a while for a couple of hours before I could get in today. I agree with Mylari that it's probably a name server issue somewhere, because when it fails I land on a domain name parking ad site. I don't know if restarting the browser helps or if I just got lucky one of the times. I'd restarted it another time and it didn't help.

I agree that it's a server issue, anything you click on gets you to the naming page 90% of the time, it's too bad, this was a great collection of gatch fanfic
( that doesn't include gatchaman crowds, whitch is so not the same thing)
And Julianne has a higher priority right now!

Permit a techie to weigh in...

Given the age of the code behind the Gatchfanfic site, try the following:

1) Use IE (or IE compatability tools)
2) Set the "Compatibility View Settings" to at least IE6 if given the choice (most of the time you only get to add the site to the list, which is sufficient)

Current versions of Chrome, Firefox and IE will NOT play well with Gatchfanfic...

I get in fine but I haven't been able to update any of my fics. I get a 'you are not authorized' error. Got the same when I tried to add a new fic. I also tried to create a new membership but gave me the same error.
