Words and pictures
My daughter has recently got into Scooby Doo in a big way. Like, everything has to be Scooby this and Scooby that, but it's cool man, it's groovy. We even found Scooby Snacks in the biscuit section of the supermarket
Anyway, I've bought her a number of Scooby Doo books, since she's so interested and every little helps in encouraging her to read. I bought her one recently where the story includes a bunch of people campaigning to save a theatre - "Save the Palace", they chant in the story.
But the artist clearly didn't read that properly because in all the pictures that feature the protesters, they're wearing "Save the Planet" t-shirts and banners. I haven't tried to explain that to my daughter, but it amused me.
So, have any of you seen things in books where the person in charge of the graphics side clearly hadn't paid proper attention to what the book was saying?

....Now non-fiction on the other hand........its interesting when u buy a guide book to reptiles and some of the pics are mucked up with the descriptions, fortunately it wasn't a muck up between a harmless and venomous
