HELLO Everyone!!!!

Been a very long time, and as you can tell I'm still alive.

Few months ago I decided to have a have a deliberate mid-life crisis....Started off with the standard " my life sucks - big time"....... " This year had been bloody awfull", "My job sucks", "I want to run away and build a pillow fort" etc

and decided to have a major clean- up and yes I will admit it "I'm a hoarder!!!!" There I said it, I'm not afraid to admit it...."I'M A HOARDER"

and what did I do about it (well I replaced a lot of stuff in labelled boxes, throw out a lot off stuff and...)

As off yesterday I am officially a student again
I start back at TAFE on the 27/1/2015 doing a visual arts course... the following year ( with my new portfolio in hand ) I will do my Diploma in Visual Arts, and my Advanced Diploma with thoughts towards doing my B.A......yah

My muses response " about bloody time why the hell do you think we have so much art equipment? " and with that she called me some very Aussie names that were not very flattering and went bush again.....

as an indicator how bad my muses hoarding was, in trying to get my attention I discovered (in different locations ) 27 12xwater colour paint set and 29 12x oil paint set and yes they were all from a closing down sale 75% off
(and yes it's and excuse and justification) the interesting thing is I've never painted in oils...looks like I'm gonna have to learn..

Yay for "fall" cleaning and new beginnings. I've had several artist friends say the prefer workin in oils, maybe you will too.

Proud of you, LW! I have a whole house that needs de cluttering! All of the design shows say it's very freeing and releases pent up energy. Good luck with your studies!

I know I find that true about decluttering. When I start doing it obsessively it's usually the first sign that I'm coming out of a depression.
