Battle of the Planets Podcast

Hi all,

I just found out that Plaid Stallions, the incredibly fun site about 70s and 80s pop culture has just loaded a new podcast about Battle of the Planets. Here's a link:

plaidstallions.blogspot.ca/2014/05/pod-stallions-episode-17-transmute.html?m=1

Sorry if anyone else reported this already, but I couldn't find another link.

Jason

Jason, It is very nice to see you back with us.

Thank you for the link. I have stored it in my bookmarks and will view it when I can find a free few moments. Then maybe I can also figure out what a Podcast is. ;-D

CD -- Teacher Anymore, it's used to refer to a video or audio series that's meant to be downloaded. It's a combination of the terms "iPod" and "broadcast" -- originally it was meant only for subscribers with iPods.

That is why I have never heard of them then…. never had an iPod. I have only just, in the last month or so, discovered what Twitter is.

Yes sometimes I feel so behind in the times.

Ooh, will have to check it out. Smile Though I get twitchy when people do this stuff and then get the facts wrong, so crossing fingers!

Okay, done listening. Some interesting stuff in there, but it rambled SO MUCH. For almost 2 hours I'd like to have learned a bit more of the kind of stuff that you usually don't get to hear. On the plus side, there was some stuff I hadn't known about, so that's good.

Hi CD, good to see you again too!

At least this Podcast is a simple download, you don't have to go through iTunes or anything to get it.

Hi Chris,

I'm glad you were able to listen to the Podcast. It always interests me to hear from other fans, but I agree, they kind of went on a bit.

If there's anything you're wondering about the series or what happened while I helped with things, I'll be glad to answer what I can.

Wow, I wouldn't even know where to start. Smile Hmm ... maybe I'll have some specific ideas once I get a chance to read the book that's on its way!

I hadn't seen or heard about this either! Thank you for posting this, Jason! Hopefully I'll have a chance to listen to it when my family leaves.... Wink
