littlewolf Update

First off, she said hello to everyone and she's working on getting herself back to contributing the way she used to.

I won't go into detail about all the stuff that's been going on -- I believe she's already given us all that she wants us to know about her family situation. I'll just add that the family has started a "tough love" policy toward a drama queen sister in the hopes of getting her to shut up and grow up.

Over the past year, she's lost several dear friends -- both human and canine -- plus the Rescue Group owner has decided to close up shop.

But it's not all gloomy news -- she's switched doctors, and this new one has started addressing some issues connected to long-term sleep deprivation (for at least a year she hasn't gotten more than 5 hours of sleep a night) and she's trying a different treatment for the spine deterioration pain. LW said she's feeling better and is even looking better -- not as old and worn out -- in the short time she's been with this doctor.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her!

Youch! Yeah, sleep deprivation does horrible things to the body and soul. So glad to hear that LW's making progress on that. Sorry to hear that things are so rough but sounds like she's getting through it and things are looking up!

That's wonderful that's she's starting to feel better. Finding a great doctor is hard to do and when you find one, hold on for dear life, especially in todays uncertain health care world.

I admire people who work on the rescue situations. I hope she's able to continue it in different ways.
