Ex-Gokin Gatcha Spartan

Hi all!

Following on the heels of their God Phoenix and New God Phoenix Firebird Version die cast toys, Fewture Models has announced that they will be reissuing their Gatcha Spartan die cast, this time in a Hypershoot version.

The difference between this release and the first release of the Gatcha Spartan is that the G-Mecha are not trimmed in their individual colors (Red, blue, green, black, and yellow). Instead, they will all be trimmed in red, so that when they are united together, they will look like the Gatcha Spartan does in the show itself. They are also adding a figure of Ken in his "Gatchaman Fencer" pose to stand on top of the ship, and a separate set of all five members of the Science Ninja Team in standing poses. Fewture Models tweeted this picture of this upcoming release:

No release date or price has been announced yet, though it is expected to be released sometime in 2014. The price on the original set was 29,800 yen (Roughly $292.00 at current exchange rates), and it is likely that this version will have a similar price tag.
