I'm sure many of you have already seen or heard about this, but I just wanted to share it in case a few of you haven't.

It's funny, I met Mark Ibanez from Channel Two at work, and he asked my teaching team about it. Silly thing was, all I could do was nod, because it had been weeks since I read about it, didn't realize it was happening yesterday, and need one of my IF's to remind me, the others were just as clueless, too.

Not all of us watch the local news, not because we don't want to know what's going on but local news gets so wound up in international news in order to appear more worldly that you rarely see anything local anymore.
