Happy Anniversary, Gatchaman!

Hi all!

Since no one else has mentioned it yet, I figured I should point out that today is the 41st anniversary of Gatchaman's premiere. To commemorate that event, I've put together a few images that I thought you might enjoy seeing.

Though it often gets overlooked, today is also the anniversary of the premiere of Gatchaman II -- it's 35th anniversary, to be specific. Not to be outdone, here are a few images from that series for you to enjoy.

And, lastly, we can't forget that this is also the 19th anniversary of the release of the first volume of the Gatchaman OAVs. Giving it some overdue equal time, here are a selection of images from the OAVs as well!

As you can see, October 1st is a pretty big day for Gatchaman! So let's all take a moment and reflect on all that the series has meant for us!

I love the pencil drawings of Gatch I & II. There are such lovely ones of Ken & Joe. But they are all really very well done. (Not too crazy about the OAV styling, but hey it's all good). Smile
