Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the heads up about KitKatse msn group.....i had noticed that there was a warning it wasn't busy but if i hadn't joined who knows how long it may have been before i found this group?

Anyway as you can see my screen name is eagle_G1, no prizes for guessing who i grew up with as my favourite.

Here in Australia we haven't had the benefit of the original series Gatchaman but the first Americanized series, Battle of the Planets.....love it or hate it, its what i grew up with and i loved it....... Tongue
I believe that Eagle Riders may have been shown here but unless someone told me what it was i wouldn't have blinked had i seen it in a tv guide.

so where was i?, yes, thats right.

I'm not sure how old i was when BotP showed on tv but i was under 10, i'm now in my early 30's......but my interest was resparked last christmas when my brother gave me a 17 episode volume 1 set.......i was in 7th heaven when i was atlast able to sit down and enjoy watching it........but i did laugh at the "dated" animation.....how similar the start of episode 1 was to "Star Wars".
But atleast this is now the age of the internet, where if i'm not watching my dvd's i can enjoy reading fanfic, look at fanart, etc, etc. In short eat, sleep and breathe BotP/gatchaman et al.

Anyway i think thats enough of an introduction to start with and i look forward to getting to know you all.

sadly i don't write fic, but as i do enjoy writing short stories occassionally i may write something as i reaquaint myself with the characters, best leave a warning though thatif i do end up writing something it definately will not be pg-13.lol.

but i do enjoy reading them.lol. there are so many on the www. i'm currently enjoying reading those at gatchfanfic.com, but then i did find some others elsewhere with more "adult" content.

i don't know so far what i prefer reading, and there sure is some interesting ideas out there that there was no way you would even consider normally. lol.

anyway, if you would like to get to know me more by all means add me to ur IM program, however with time zones i'm not likely to be on at the same times, thats where icq is great.
