What NOW?!
At the rate things are going, it might behoove me to have a room called “What the @#$% happened to you this time?!â€
Of course, there’s a story attached.
Last Thursday evening, August 8, I started feeling as if I was fighting off a virus, so I went to bed early. The next morning, I wasn’t feeling any better, but I pushed myself through my morning routine, posted a few comments here, and kept my Wound Care Center appointment.
The first thing the nurse usually does is check my vital signs. My pulse was 150 beats per minute, and my blood pressure was 64/30. Then my pulse was 43 beats/ minute...then 67...then 129...then 90...well, you get the idea. I wound up in the ER with all sorts of monitors and IVs hooked up to me.
Well, long story short, I now have Atrial Fibrillation. I spent my time in the hospital (Friday until today, the 15th) getting my heart rate under control and getting my blood pressure up to normal. The cardiologist said that, since my heart is in good shape otherwise, the a-fib shouldn’t be much of a problem – I’ll just be on Coumadin for a while, and I’ll have to keep an eye on it.
It’s also bugged me that I’ve fallen behind with littledingo and Lockout 3. I’ll get those caught up ASAP.

Oh Sunshine the most important thing in this life is you.
The stories can wait (even if you may not think so at the time).
Get yourself well, look after yourself, be easy and kind to yourself. RI for you and many off us on the site has been very challenging the last few years, but if we don't stop once in a while to breath and rest we will find it harder to get up again.
From my point of view I will wait for your stories (and everyone else's ) it is more important to me that you all look after yourself, it makes the stores worth more to me.
loves, hugs and chicken soup
