Ok!! Hi, everyone!
About me...I have been a Gatchaman fan for about 20 years (oh my god, is that reallly true? it is!!), but unlike many of you I did not grow up watching BOTP.
My formative introduction to Gatchaman was G-Force (GoS) on Cartoon Network in the early 90s, although thanks to the Interwebs I quickly discovered the original version and fell in love with it. I printed out all of Alara Rogers' translations, read them over and over. Gatchaman was my gateway to online fandom, which has been central to my life ever since.
Recently I just had the urge to write fanfic after many years of focusing on art instead (not to mention real life). I was craving new Gatchaman fic, and one day I was like--I'm just going to write some. *shrug*
I prefer to read and write romantic (and erotic) fiction, and I like all ships with canon team characters, although I prefer Ken/Joe and Ken/Joe/Jun. (And I also feel the world needs Jun/Ryu. Someday.)
