Jason's Girlfriends

OK, I'm working on the scene of an argument between Mark and Jason over Jason's girlfriends. It's all still in my head at the moment, because I'm not sure how strong Mark's case actually is.

How many of Jason's girlfiends have actually tried to kill him? How many looked merely suspicious, or went after Joe in canon that I could retcon into being after Jason too? Also, if I need to invent a few, what sort of situations can you see Jason getting himself into - what types of girls - that might have led to his life being in danger?

The only person I could think of in canon was Lucy.

Thanks in advance. Cupid

can't remember exactly which episode it is, but there was an off duty devilstar that Joe meets at the racetrack, he makes a date with, but then kills her on duty when she attempted to kill him with a rosebomb.

We find out later she was actually engaged to his childhood friend Alan.

not sure if it was actually made into BotP either, but shouldn't be too hard to find out

Would that count?

ETA BotP episode 71, The Galaxy Girls, and her name in that was Lana Hill.....

<rubbing hands gleefully>

Yes. Oh, yes, I can make that count!

<evil cackle> I have the power! Evillaugh Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Wha -

<jublke startles as other Gatchamaniacs discover her in the secret plotting room>

Oh!

<dusts off knees, returns Jason and Mark to their protective glass cases on the bookshelf, next to the Gatchamaniacs' shared BotP DVD collection>

Oh, yes, of course. That's quite helpful. Thanks, KT!

There's Tyna, who tried to kill Jason under Spectra's commande, but it turend out her parents were being held hostage by Spectra.

You may find Jason's site to be of help.

http://www.battleoftheplanets.net/jason.html

That link lists Jason's 'girlfriends':

quote:
Despite his independent leanings, Jason is dedicated to G-Force and gets very upset when others let the team down - especially Mark 52. Of his fellow teammates, Jason seems to care about Princess the most 7, 39, 40.

He has shown a great deal of compassion for other people that enter his life like Myra Wade 98, Lucy 27 and Tyna 70. He has been seen with tears in his eyes when he has thought members of his team have died 23.

The numbers are episode references.

HTH!

Actually, in that episode, all Jason does is rescue her from the track and drop her off at work.

We never learn that she actually is a Galaxy Girl, though it is strongly implied since her boss appears to be Mala (who does not strike her for being late).

Jason never kills her as she tries to escape after the attack on the train, because he was never there.

So we do not know if she was there or not, or if she survived.

I think the only one who ever tried to actually harm the him, as TJ listed, is Tyna. Lucy did try to shoot at the Phoenix, but never tried to harm Jason.

So, Jason's record is better than Joe's, but it could still make for fun fanfiction, particularly if you have Mark blowing it out of proportion.

Thanks Ame,

I was remembering the gatch version, since I didn't remember the BotP episode, I got the info from the episode of the week thread, but it sure demonstrates the vast difference in the two universes.
