Another "Chris's Garage" find
Lookie who I found lurking in my garage. I was afraid I'd lost him! This is a pin:

Awesome! You must have been so excited to find it! (again )

Very nice!
Now, are you going to wear it!?

It's amazing what you've got stashed in that garage, CW!
(BTW, you wouldn't happen to have D.B. Cooper hanging out in there, would you?)

Perhaps I will regret asking...who is D.B. Cooper?

D.B. Cooper was a guy who, in the early 1970's, hijacked a plane and held the passengers hostage for (I think) $10 thousand. After he got the money, he let the passengers go, and forced the pilot to go back into the air.
Somewhere between Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington, Cooper grabbed a parachute and jumped out of the plane. Nobody's seen him since.

I watched a show where they're pretty sure they identified who D.B. Cooper really was, and that he survived the jump.
Not sure I'll wear the pin unless I go to some kind of convention (though I'd be afraid I'd lose it). I was definitely thrilled to find it again! I was almost sure by this point that I'd lost it, as I expected to find it with the other stuff!
Somewhere I have 1 more item. *trembles and looks at the garage*

Love the thrill of the find! I think the pin would look cool as part of a larger pin, some interestingly folded fabric behind it...
Hell ya! I'd wear it proud!

I'm not ashamed. Just afraid I'd really lose it this time.

Considering all the "unsolved mystery" shows and "what ever happened to --?" programs my mom made me watch as a kid, I'm surprised nobody else seems to have heard of him!

Now that you mention it, I HAVE heard this story, but I didn't remember the guy's name. So if he could be in Chris's garage, what's the reward?

Did you know there's a whole tourist industry of taking parachuters up to duplicate Cooper's jump? Crazy stuff.
I'll have to keep my eyes open for piles of cash in the garage.
