Sick--ick
Caught a cold. Nothing serious, just a sore throat, fever, and runny nose, annnnd I have a houseful of company coming this afternoon...
On top of that, I cracked the back of my right hand on a counter at work last night and now have a half-dollar sized bruise that hurts when I move my thumb and index finger.
Oh well. Carry on.

I swear by Zicam. It always helps my colds go away faster! I hope it's feeling better now, K2P2. You can always try hot tea with honey and lemon for your throat.

Thanks, will have to look in to Zicam. Busy week next week and need to keep going. Right now though, hubby suggested a nap before the company arrives, and I think I will take him up on it. zzzzzz.

No nap for me, the kids set up a game of Catan, and I HAD to play. My eldest leaves for college next year and I treasure every moment with them...
Amythsyt (hey that's my birthstone too!) just had to say it...I found some Chai tea in the cabinet and made a big old cup of that to sip while playing the game. Don't know if it soothed anything, but it sure was tasty...

Don't worry. They pass quickly enough. Or at least I hope. Got one myself. My nose is running like mad and my back hurts and my head hurts and I can't concentrate on writing. Plus, I have to leave for morning shift in less than an hour and its Freezing out there. ;_;
