Site upgrade planned for November 2004

Dear all,

The website will undergo a refit towards the end of November 2004.

Currently the new site being developed is being converted to the HTML4.0 standard ready for its progression into XHTML.

Around 80% of the site is currently developed with an effort to ensure the site is compatiable with the following browsers,

Internet Explorer 5+
Netscape 7.1
Mozilla Firefox 1.0

The site will also have several styles utilising CSS so you can pick and choose your favourite from the ones available with the added bonus that if you do not like a current style, you can always submit your own for review.

The website will no longer support the RPG system or the online Gallery.

However these systems may be re-developed at a later date.

New additions to the site will later include,

E-Zine Newsletter
Online Store
Personal Webpages

An update on the site downtime whilst the changes are being made shall come nearer the time.

Cool Cep! Looking forward to the refit as well. One question. If you take out Gallery, is there going to be another way to post images other than as attachments in messages?

I'm also curious about the gallery though. Is this just the gallery available from the buttons at the top, or is it the ability to upload pics? Cos I think the ability to upload pics is one of the best things about this version of the forum Smile
