Neat find! Yikes, that's a lot of robots! It's great that Zark got included, though I guess 1-Rover-1 didn't make the cut. I don't see him.

So many, though, that I don't recognize, I have to admit, though maybe if I saw them in the context of their film or cartoon, then I would. My "geek cred" is taking a hit here...

The ones I recognized for sure, with no "could that be..." or "I know I've seen that one before but I'm drawing a blank..." (lot of those) and with no google image searches:

Zark, the Schwarzenegger-Terminator, C3PO and R2D2 from Star Wars, Wall-E (and Eva from Wall-E), Bender from Futurama, the female robot from Metropolis, the Dalek from Dr. Who, the dog-thing from the original Battlestar Galactica (can't remember its name), the cylon from the original Battlestar Galactica, and the cylon from the new version, the robot from Buck Rogers (but I couldn't remember his name), the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz.

That's about it!

That's the big climax of the movie (sorry if I just ruined it for you Wink ). The basic plot is that evil robots from the future kill Bill & Ted. They have to come back from death (meeting strange characters along the way) to defeat the evil robots and save their futures (as well as the future of the planet, since future humanity will be based upon their music).
