Spam You know, the iphone is just too rich for my blood. I like simple phones that work as phones not miniature computers that cost an extra $50 or more per month. Anyway, I definitely wouldn't buy one from Spammer!

Cracked dot com has the same problem. There's at least one spam post in the 'comments' section of every topic. Worse, so many of them are misspelled I can't decide if I'm looking at Engrish or illiterate. paddling

Mate -- I'll give you $50 for them both ...

Gee ... everyone already knows that if you purchase an iPhone from an Apple store it's already unlocked. It's only if you opt to get it through a carrier that it's a locked unit.

You can also purchase it from the Apple store for much less than this goofball is charging... Ooh ... and that will also come with a full warranty and all the goodies with it...

I know ... I have looked into it and had much discussion with Apple people and my phone company ... I LOVE my iPhone .. I am waaay curious about the 4th gen ...

But anyway ... yeah ... Where's that big red button? Demolish this idiot....

I'm shocked to say the spammer's prices don't seem that bad for europe (based on my 2 minute google). But who'd buy from the spammer? What are the chances that you hand over your cash and the phone(s) never arrive?

And why is there an email address in the ad? Surely anyone posting these kinds of spammy adverts gets so much abuse that they can't tell the potential purchases from the shit getting hurled at them?

E-mail addy, and not a site link? (No, I didn't click on it, so the rest of the post is generalized stuff.)

One rule of doing this sort of thing: don't make the customer work too hard. You don't want them changing their minds because you couldn't streamline the process. Really: they should say, 'Oh, I want that' and click where you want them to. What you offer can be a product, a service, or information, but it must be as easy as possible for them to get there.

Another rule is my signature line: 'Benefits, not features.' Why should I buy the Widget 500 from Acme Widgets? Tell me what it can do for me, better than any other gadget. After that, you can list the features.

Notice how he changed the title of the thread, and and the name of the originator.

LOL, why do people like that come here just to do stuff like this anyway? Hmm, does this place have a rival site or something? Has any place or any other forum bad mouthed this site publicly? If it ever was, maybe it was one of those people. LOL.

EDIT:Wait, the user's name and the thread title was originally something else? What was it?

Some twit advertising an iPhone, and not doing a very good job of it. A list of features, the price (in euros), and an e-mail address.

Cep dealt with it.

Oh. Thought it was a troll or something. Trolls need to stay in their caves and quit ridiculing the people who are above and beyond them.
