monkeyspheres

My question is this... who is in the teams monkeysphere and possibly any reason you might have for it being so...

If you want to include your own thoughts about your private monkeysphere feel free to do so.

I've always found the concept of the monekysphere to be very interesting... and ultimately true. It's difficult to feel as much sympathy for people dying in wars on the other side of the world as it is for your own friends and family who are going through personal crises. It's how people can see the enemy as 'inhuman' and feel that it's 'okay' to kill them. And let's face it, isn't that what we all think about the Galactor goons?

As for the Team... they don't know that many people, so I would suspect that pretty much most of the 'good' characters we see are in their monkeysphere... yep, even that annoying monkey from episode 83. Wink

But the obvious ones are: each other, Dr. Nambu, Ryu's father and brother, Director Anderson, Koji, Sebu, the Red Impulse Squadron, Maria, Rumi and Dr. Borombo, the guy known as G6, Naomi, etc, etc, etc.

Very interesting link, GG! I've often thought that facebook ought to have categories like "casual acquaintance," "co-worker," "person I apparently went to high school with but barely remember" or "I have no clue who this person is but I accepted their friend request anyway for the heck of it," since it's really impossible to have hundreds of "friends."

This also explains how Katse can be so utterly callous to his goon minions -there are just far too many of them, he can't possibly care about all of them!

I think that orphans, be they human or animal, might also fit somewhat in the Science Ninja's monkeysphere. Ken really wanted to help Naomi avenge her father killed in a Galactor earthquake, and they saved an orphanage in episode 29, and then there's the baby whale and the puppy they resuced in eps 18 and 20.

LB, most of us that have large number of friends on FB, are for gaming purposes... so maybe a cat. for just game friends...

With me, I think the team would have a very small "inner" circle, where the outer one would include all the people they have met through their battles... only because you couldn't/wouldn't know who to trust being in the spot they are in.

Though I do think people like Ryu's family would be in their close circle... people like Koji would be more for Jun, and the guys would care about him, more in the way it would affet Jun.
