Been doing random musings, and seeing as how most of us like sharp pointy things... Here's what's reguarded as two of the best in Hollywood films, as they were done by people who actually knew what they were doing, not just pretending, like Lambert in Highlander.

These days, not many actors have that classical training. They get coached by the expert for the choreographed fight scene, which looks great because of a million takes and good camera angles.

Those are great, classic scenes. I agree, you can see real fencing skills there! I've always liked Basil Rathbone's fight with Errol Flynn's Robin Hood too.

I have a lot of nostalgic fondness for Westley and Inigo's fight in Princess Bride too though.
