They just won the lottery...
Suppose your favorite Science Ninja just won the lottery. What will they spend their money on?
Ken - pays off tab at Snack J and only has enough for lunch left over.
Joe - buys entirety of BC Island and kicks everyone suspected of being with Galactor out
Jun - expands Snack J (she would do this as well if Ken ever paid off his tab) and sets up a college fund for Jinpei
Jinpei - buys something nice for Jun, spends the rest on his own bug zoo
Ryu - goes to Hawaii, eats pineapples and roast pork, and dances all night with hula girls
Any other thoughts?

I think Jun might well treat herself to a some new dresses from her favourite designer, Calidon (not that she gets much chance to wear anything but her civvies), but I agree that she would be practical and forward-thinking with most of the money, looking ahead to when the war is over.
I think Ken ought to buy himself a car. Sure, he has a plane, but I often wonder how he gets from his airfield to the Snack J, unless he's doing a lot of walking (or Jun gives him rides everywhere on her motorcycle.)
(I wonder if he'd buy a bigger and grander-looking monument for his dead father?)
I think Jinpei would probably make a big donation to an orphanage -llikely the one from episode 29, where he himself had once lived.
I really like your idea for Ryu! Yes, he'd probably do just that, or certainly throw a big party of some kind so that everyone can relax and have fun.
Joe... Yes, he seems like the one who'd be least interested in material things, and it's not so easy to buy revenge (though BC Island is certainly a good place to start!). A big donation to the Utoland SPCA, maybe? We know he likes puppies...

I wonder if Ken and Ryu would "fix up" their shacks. Ruy before he had that party LB suggested. Or Ruy might buy himself a fleet of boats to rent out.
Jun - I like the suggestion of buying a new wardrobe or fixing up the Snack J. Maybe buying some pretty jewelry for herself.
Jinpei would go out and buy up a collection of computer games or video games. Or even lots of comics.
Joe - I am not sure maybe something to do with racing. Maybe make a donation to some charity related to racing or the "racing widowers fund." If there is such a thing.

Both of you have left me with nothing much else in mind to add! You've already mentioned the most probable things!
How about, instead of the probabilities, stretching the "improbabilities" further, such as:
the romantic me says that Ken might buy an engagement ring for Jun! With that, he would hit two birds at one go, as Jun would surely forget all about his tab, plus both of them would be happy! He might also have enough money left to buy a car, like LB has said!
Joe could buy himself a better home, even if I don't know how much he'd prefer that instead of his beloved trailer! Or, perhaps, he would consider having his own race-track!
As for Jun, I like the idea of her expanding her business and setting up funds for Jinpei ... saving some money for her dream wedding dress! As restricted in fashion as she is, she deserves to have that very special dress on that very special, single occasion!
Jinpei giving a huge donation to the orphanage makes a lot of sense! But, nothing is said that he couldn't have his bug dream, either! Just one question ... due to his age, could he administer such funds or does he have to wait until a certain, legal age, in order to do so! Or, is he exempt from certain restrictions as he is for driving!
Ryu might buy a yacht and throw out a big party! He might also consider sending some money back home to his family!

Wow, you guys have come up with some great stuff! Marie, you're totally right.... Jinpei may not be old enough to have access to the money, and Dr. Nambu would have to administer it for him. I'm sure that would put a damper on his spending!
And Ryu's party on the yacht... that way he could sail to Hawaii!
I never thought about Jun buying Caledon clothes, but that makes sense. And Ken buying a bigger monument to his father is in character too.

I think Ken would think about paying Jun off for his tab...since he's an honest man he sets up an account to pay her back weekly, then he invests in a new plane and employes someone to do part of the mail run starting his own mail service. "Eagles drop."
