James posted some time ago about the new diecast vehicles released in Japan. Kena has posted pictures on her blog showing the G-3 and G-4, and how they compare to the figures and vehicles from the Diamond Select series. It's worth a look if you're a toy lover like me!

It was interesting to see the difference in size of between the sets, and the color of the Phoenix. Though I'm guessing that part the color-change has to do with fading over time on the original set.

It was very cool all the same, and I'd love to get my hands on some - especially a G1 Big Grin

I wish I could afford to get my hands on those. I would love to have a set. I wonder if they did one of the G-2. I don't see one in any of the pictures. (Or did I miss something.)

They did all of the vehicles, but I'm gathering Kena doesn't have the other set (has the G-1, G-2 and a Red Impulse jet).

The sets are about $400 to $500 each on EBay... ouch!
