Make a wish!
Whoever is longing to see a shooting star in order to make a wish, do not miss the Perseid meteor shower, or as we know them "the tears of St. Lawrence, the martyr", as per the Italian tradition, which will take place, if I'm not mistaken, predominantly, tonight, from midnight, beginning of August 12th, onwards! Look northeast in the darker areas of the sky, preferrably where there isn't any artificial lighting ... and may your wishes come true!

Gatchamarie lives in Malta LG so I would assume the shower can be seen world wide.
I look for it every year, myself. THis year I am stuck in the city so I will not get to see it. Unless I am very lucky and there happens to be a very bright shooting star.

My wish already came true!
TIFF has booked a new Josh Hartnett movie .. which means the lad will be in Toronto for the film festival!!
YEEHAAA ... My first ever celebrity stalk! :grins: (well actually Keanu Reeves was my first (in '96), but he ended up coming over to talk to me before I could find him, so that didn't count)
Actually ... maybe I should wish that Flash would actually let me go and and hunt down some Hartnett goodness ... hmmmm ...
