Jason's Love Life
Just wanting to know - what's Jason's actual romantic history during Battle of the Planets? Do his girls actually survive, ala all those 'robot' planes?

I know Lucy turned out to be a cyborg, and then she died in the race episode.
I didn't think BOTP really showed him with anyone else beyond a possible flirtation...and, of course, they always turned out to be Spectran...
but I could be wrong...probably am...interested to see what the real answer is...

Tyna survived, but I believe she 'moved away'...

RIgirl, from my memory, you're right, it was more flirtation and suggestion than fact.

I don't remember anything specific either. I believe his being promiscuous is purely fanon.

In canon, Jason was always meeting women who turned out to have a Spectra connection. Because that was Joe's shitty luck, originally.
When Galaxy Girls was edited into existence, G2's meeting with the young assassin was cut to just him giving her a ride. Not even a hint of a relationship.
Lucy was a robot in BotP.
Then there was Tyna, who was coerced into working for Spectra.
I can't recall any others.

That was it, I think, UW. There was also one brief mention in one episode, not sure which, in a ready room scene about him taking a class at a JC because of the female instructor. But even in those episodes there was a lot of room for interpretation because it was mostly flirtation and inuendo (Race Against Disaster being the most direct).
The idea of actual romance or even promiscuity comes from the comic books and fan interpretation.
