Message from Ste (Askura)

My beloved certainly knows how to worry me!!

He's currently in hospital having tests for suspected kidney stones.

Apparently he woke up this morning with pain enough to call an ambulance (which, as any female knows, means it would be enough to nearly kill anybody!) and was taken to hospital.

Waiting to hear on results of scans and when he'll be out.

*sniff* Missing him already.

Ouch! I've known several people who have had those and they say it is incredably painful.

Hope all goes well, and as painlessly as possible, and that he's out soon and back with you, and us. Huggles both Maddy and Ste.

Please send my best wishes to Ste, Maddy! I, too, have family members and friends that have that same condition and, sometimes, it's not a very pleasant one! I'll pray for him to be fine soon, and for you to face this moment the best you can! We're all here for you, dear! Take care!Huggles

Same from me, fingers crossed he will be back with you soon.
I'll add my best wishes that he's out and about ASAP
Also send you a big hug and with lots of added strength as you wait to hear.

Oh, Maddy! Please tell Ste I hope he's feeling better soon -- he will definitely be missed until he's back!

Hugs to you both, along with my wishes that he'll be up and about in a hurry!

Maddy, give Ste our best when you talk to him. Hope he recovers quickly and is back in the nest with us soon.

Thanks everybody. They're keeping him in overnight - concerned that his white blood cell count is a little high, probably from the stones.

Still...... *worries*

One of those times when being on the othr side of the planet to my beloved is the horrbilest thing in the world.

Huggles hugs, Maddy! It's not easy whether you're in the same room, around the corner, or around the world. As hard as it is, were ever you are, you won't do him much good if you don't take care of yourself because you're too worried.

Has it been confirmed that it's kidney stones?

I can only hope that Ste gets better soon!

My thoughts are with you guys!

Are they going to try any treatments to dissolve them or break them up to make them easier to pass?

Oh, Maddy! Well, actually - Oh, poor Ste!

I know it's hard being here and him being there, hun. My father almost died during my first year in Japan and no one thought to tell me about it - until he was cleared.

All I wanted to do was fly back just for a hug...

I'm thinking of you both and Huggles to both of you! In a week everything will be fine - the week just has to go first... *sigh*

I've been told Kidney stones are the one way men can get an idea what labor pains feel like.

Send him a giant get well card from all of us.
