Furry Babies

I know many of you like me, have pets that are like a part of your family. As a teacher, I talk about mine all the time to my students.

At the end of the school year, teachers are often showered with great gifts (another perk with my job) and I had to share with you one gift that I got for Buster, my Yorkshire Terrier. This dog is ready for a luau! Haha!

I have a Golden Retriever, too, but I guess they don't make those little shirts that big. LOL

I thought this thread might be a good place to share pictures of our furry...or even not-so-furry friends!

Very cute dogs, all of them!

I'm currently without a pet, but my sister is hoping to give me one of her cats (her bad cat, the one who she says is frustrated being an indoor-only cat), just as soon as she can figure out a way to get him from her place to mine (some 350 miles apart).

I love dogs, and my kids do also ... the only thing that impedes us from having one at home is the fact that we do not have enough time to dedicate to such a pet, it having its own necessities and having to be treated as part of the family. Before I get one I want to make sure that I'm able to take care of it as should be! On the other hand, we have a small aquarium, with different types of goldfish, and two budgies.

yes, long haired purebred chihuahua. she would have been a mutt from the SPCA, but dad decided to surprise us with his puppy's sister.
