Donating Hair
Hi
need some help from both Australian and world wide friends.
I am looking at cutting my hair off again, and would like to donate it.
Last time I shaved it of for "Shave for a Cure" leukemia foundation(3.5yrs ago, it grows verrry fast) and a friend donated it to a doll maker, and at the moment they don't need hair, so am looking for some were else to give it to.
It will be somewere between 12-15 inches (30-38cm)((depends on how short I go))brown and only a couple of semi perminant colour in it, last one several months ago, no slit end, good condition, few white hairs (hence the colours) slightly wavey
I'd shave the lot off again (extra 5-8inches), but its the first day of winter here and last time I did that, I got close to a buzz cut, just as it turned cold, (my ears were freezing and I don't think I look good bald, but it was real easy to wash and dry),and there are some very strange people out there, who, not only were strangly attracted to me when I had no hair, I'm not going to repeat some on the sugesstion and some guy on the youtube video of the "shave" wanted to date me cause I was bald, )maybe he was the one who racked up the viewing numbers.
Ah the power of the hair!!
Anyway anyhelp would be appreciated as it's getting to long for me handle, as it's almost to my waist

Are there any wig-makers in your area? If there are, do they make wigs for cancer patients?
(Some folks have a fetish for shaved heads. Don't mind them.)

Call Seeley's, they're a porcelain doll-making company, or look for a doll-making studio in your area, a student might like to purchase it. The person buying it can always colour it and string it to their needs.
I used real hair for my porcelain dolls in the past, but at the moment I'm not making any and have a few lengths of it in my supplies.
