Facebook's Gone Rogue

I found this via Jessica Calvello's status message about little more than an hour ago:

Check that URL. It's doing nothing more than directing us to whatever's up at the moment.

Hi all!

You have to cut-and-paste the entire link, not just the active part. Try this link instead:

And people wonder why I have no interest in getting a Facebook account...

iagree james. I've always been worried about the privacy issues, not to mention the huge time sink. Why do I need people from high school and university findnig me anyhow? I dind't want to be in contact with those people back then, so why should I be now? Wink

My sentiments exactly! That's one of the big reasons why I've never gone to any of my high school reunions. I didn't want to see those people when it was free to do so, and I certainly don't want to pay money to attend a reunion to see them now.

I share the same sentiment with you both, TJ and James! Just last week, a friend of mine urged me to join in for the millionth time but I have refused ... again! And I really don't regret it! I'm not a fan of reunions also!

If school was hell, the only reason for attending a reunion is if you can drive up in a really nice car and flaunt your success.

Otherwise, unless you know for certain that the people who gave you hell are all losers, don't bother.

Y'know, there was a time when Facebook users got up in arms when people pulled that 'We'll do what we want and eff you' crap. I suppose it's gotten too big for that.

(I have a shitty little profile there. I never figured out how to work it. I think I expected something more bloggy.)

That would involve caring enough about those people to want to show off to them. They're too unimportant to me, and my ego is not so fragile, that I would want to put that effort into it.

I should have added, 'If you wanted to.'
