What's With Veoh?
Last night, I went to Veoh to do a BotP review, and had a nasty surprise: almost half of them are gone. They have 50 episodes, not all 85.
I wanted to produce reviews of all 85, as much so that I would have material for fanfics as for the benefit of other fans who might not have the series (especially in order).

Huh... Interesting. I wonder why. When I looked up the user info, it looks like they haven't updated the channel in 6 months. Now that Veoh is really getting a following, I wonder if they're starting to crack down on how long something can be posted for. It could be a rights thing, but if it was, I would think they would have removed all the videos.

Veoh is the only source I have for BOTP episodes too.

Oh Frell! I hadn't gotten through all the eps over there and it was my only source too. A couple of weeks ago all 85 were there on like five pages. Tonight I looked and they were down to three pages. I majorly upset now. Those were the best quality of broadcasts I'd seen. They were clear and sound was good, unlike some of the YouTube one which are a little grainy.

I have had a hunt through Veoh and have found the gatchaman vids( i think ythey are all there - but it did take some hunting )
Airwalker007 had a group- gatchaman channel hopefully this link works if not search airwalker007 and the Gatchaman stuff is on the last few pages

I don't have parental controls on my computer. My children go meow. And I do find it silly that I have to click on that for a show that was intended for children.
Anyway, I'll see what I find.
Otherwise, someone here may have to download their own DVDs...

Wait a minute, has anyone counted? There are only 50 episodes shown. The page SAYS 85 but there are only 50 (from what I can see). Unless my computer is not showing me all of the episodes.
I can not see any of the episodes in the 50's, 70's, or 80's and I can only see 1 or 2 in the 60's - can't remember if it was 69 and another 60 or not.

I think some of them may be corrupted. The last time I went there I got a virus. Tried about 20 minutes ago, my browser crashed and is now giving me all kinds of hell. Only problems that occur happen with visits to Veoh. Now I get to play RL computer geek and fix the problem. Hopefully without having to pester my brother who's currently in Turkey and not happy about it.

Yep, they stop at DVD episode 49, and it's episode 69 that's there.
Wonder if the folks at Veoh know there's a problem? If someone's using the site to send out viruses, that makes them look bad.
(And I was so hoping to have all 85 episodes summarized for people. In the Sandy Frank production order.)

Yeah, there is definitely something weird going on. Glad I haven't clicked on anything. I'd probably be safe, but I don't want to chance it.
I think there's only a handful now that I haven't seen, but I was hoping to have them all right where I could reference them for fics and whatnot.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll fix it back the way it was a few weeks ago.
BTW, tht 18+ thing got me too. The only thing Adult about it was the stupid adds at the bottom of screen. Some of those were rather squicky.

I think it must have been some of Zark's porn that he uses when Susan's occupied elsewhere. Pretty scary that.
I never got how it was okay to have all the stuff between Zark and Susan and not some of the violence. Believe me, I still, as an adult, find them repulsive. Give me the violence any day. At least that had an explanation.
I love Battle of the Planets, it just kills me knowing how much better it would have been without the robotic sexcapades.

Ironically, with the voice actor chosen and the era, Zark could have been a good character, if they didn't add Susan, if they didn't have all the sexual innuendo, if he wasn't a robotic Gary Stu. He could have been a more animated narrator, but no they add to add all the other crap.
