The strangest anime you ever saw
Off the top of my head, I think the strangest anime I ever saw was Project A-ko. That show was really weird. If you saw it, you'd probably understand. Oh well, at least B-ko is hot.

I'm not sure... but there is some strange stuff that comes on during kids cartoons in the morning!

Ah but the joke is A-Ko is Superman and Wonder Woman's daughter....watch the ending. Dad had the Daily Planet in hand and Mom a star spangled apron.
Now all the A-ko follow ups being as sad as they are would qualify as weird and boring. I love the first one.

I haven't heard of that one!

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Deconstruction of the giant robot genre. The title translates to 'New Beginnings Gospel' (more or less). Earth is under attack from creatures called 'Angels', and the only defence is giant robots known as EVA units that can only be piloted by children. Everyone is a mental mess, and the EVA units contain the souls of the children's mothers. It has a seriously screwed-up ending that I could not figure out.
If the planned third season of The Big O had been produced, all our questions would have been answered.

Yes Evangelions ending #1 and then the re do ending #2 and then the continual rebirth of the series is a head scratcher.

I agree with Writer on Eva. I really didn't think it was good at all. I don't know why people think it's of so much legendary quality, and I'm afraid to denounce it in most of the places I go to, because knowing the fans of the series, I'm worried I'll get my ass chewed off and am not prepared to take the ridiculous amount of heat I'll probably get. The only reason I'm doing it here is because I feel comfortable here, and all the people I've seen here (so far) are friendly and very understanding. But back to the topic:Eva was also sac-religious. And I also agree with Thunderbird on the constant re-releasing of the series. How many friggin' times are they gonna re-release the same damn thing? And everytime it does get re-released, the company makes a ridiculously big deal about it and hypes it to death. There's nothing new (with the exception of the director's cut they did a few years ago). They have to constantly re-release a 15 year old anime and act like it's getting released in english for the first time ever or something. Why?

What is 'Dragon Half'?

I had to watch "Spirited Away" twice to grab all the bits of the real idea! ... even today, now that some time has passed from the last time I've seen it, I have to see it again to be able to describe it well!
