Question for James...

I found this image of a Gatchaman Laserdisc, and I'm wondering... who's the person in the lower left of the picture? Is it supposed to be an unmasked Katse? If so, why the dark hair?

I'm guessing the artist also didn't want yellow from Katse's hair interfering with the dramatic impact of the yellow of X's eye (or needle form)

Did you also notice that this Katse looks more Asian than the original? It's in the eyes.

Great pic you found there, TJ! I agree with the shadow aspect! The yellow hair would have neutralized, or diminished by far, the effect!
