A Bird Returns to the Nest
Hino takes the keycard out of her pocket and carefully inserts it into the reader. She stares at the small non-illuminated light on the door; as she does so, a quick flash of anxiety sweeps through her, and she unconsciously holds her breath. Silently she prays that her card is still registered as "active". Tthe little light suddenly blinks green and the click of the door release is heard. Hino puts her hand on the handle, turns it, and enters the room....
