After weeks of checking everyday, I finally found someone who was selling Gatchaman Collection 6 and 7 for a decent price!

The cheapest I had seen both of these was for hundreds of dollars (WTF?) but I found someone on Half.com selling them for a resonable price so I got both sets for less than $80. Small price to pay to finish off my collection.

Now I have all 9 box sets once these get here in the mail. I also got my complete Eagle Riders set in the mail a few days ago.

Now I just need time to watch them all! :p

I only have the first ADV box set and Rhino's The Best of G-Force DVD. I was gonna get the 2nd box set with the money I got this month, but then I read that the episodes in the second box set weren't that great, and I think I'm just gonna hold off for now. Plus I want to save up and buy that Ken The Eagle costume I saw so I can wear it at an anime convention.

It's ironic that it'll be a copy of tapes made in Australia when it was aired here. Which I missed because I was living in Japan and had no idea of the connection....

You should have them all. Especially if you want to follow the discussions here. (Although you could read the episode reviews, I suppose.) The episode commentaries are definitely worth the money (entertaining and often very funny).

Dark Water, your best bet might be to find someone on EBay who is selling the entire set. That's usually the cheapest route if you want them all.

ETA If you want to buy individual discs rightstuf.com has most of them pretty cheaply.

Congratulations!

Back in late 2006/early 2007, I was ordering a couple collections a month, until I had all nine. When a new one came in the mail, I'd tell my nephew "This Friday is Gatchaman night!" and we'd watch a whole bunch of episodes in a row -so much fun!
