Volunteers?
Hey guys...my brother is testing out a new website this weekend. A music project he is working on that is similar to Facebook (for bands and fans). It is called "The Industree" and it could become really big if it catches on.
Anyhoo...he is testing it out this weekend and needs beta testers to pretend to join by adding bogus names and credit card #s, etc...the site explains how it works (I still need to learn how it all works).
He has a bunch of us trying it out, but needs more people. I'm going to try to add 50 bogus accounts by Sunday night if I can. This is just to try it out and test the server...so there is no obligation, and the bogus accounts will be wiped after the test. I am planning on joining it, though, as a fan...when it starts (no money involved with that).
If you are interested in helping him test the site, I'll send you the directions. If not, I understand...just thought I'd ask...
When the site is officially posted, I'll let you know so you can check it out!

BTW...if you do create a fake account...the two artists on the front page are my two brothers...One is in the group called "The Variance" and the other is called "Try-Be"...don't ask...LOL

Anyway, I'm in! BTW, it's okay to create multiple accounts from the same PC? Since you've said these account will be deleted can we give fake credit card data?

My brother just emailed me and asked that I only create 10 email accounts for now...and 10 next weekend.
They've found a glitch already...so that's good. The site should be operational soon!

did you see some of my fake accounts? ...buster brown, white witch, etc?
I'm not seeing anyone else's new accounts...and the ones I created don't show up. We're working on it now.

I do not know how to tell if any of the accounts I connect to are new or not.
I have set up Princess Andreson as an artist, I think. I have even downloaded an album and song for people to connect to. lol
I have her listed as an artist called Swango.

Hey guys- my brother just called and told me that they've found a major "glitch"- so they asked us to hold off on adding any more accounts until they fix it.
He'll let us know when to continue- it may be next week. (apparently, I am the big winner for glitch finding- yay me-)
He also wanted to pass on his sincere gratitude for all of your help! He was so thrilled to hear that so many of you were willing to help test the site- it could become really big! *fingers crossed*
