V - re-imaged series

Any fans of the original V mini-series and the 1 season series may be interest in knowing that ABC is doing a re-imaged V series which has only 13 episodes.

Kenny Johnson, the creator of the original V will be recieved in the credits as "Created by" but otherwise isn't involved. He has congratulated Jason Hall and Scott Peters for it but is still trying to make a film of his original work.

You can find the trailer somewhere in this forum (forgotten where) or go to Youtube and put V (2009) in.

The idea of seemingly benevolent aliens coming to Earth is always an interesting premise. I might just have to watch the first ep and see what it's like...

I loved the original series of "V". Unofortunately, it was on the same night as I was doing my Cub Scout leader thing - thankfully I was able to rush home and make it by start time of 9pm!

My parents really wouldn't record it for me. I think it was because it was on late on during the week and I was normally in bed. I can remember watching some of it on video.

Glad that I bought the DVDs, though it's a pity the TV company wouldn't give Kenny Johnson any money form some more special effects and instead re-using clips from the mini-series and earlier episodes.
