It looks like they are both relaxing and waiting for the show to end so they can get back to their place to celebrate on their own.

Here in Indianapolis, it is raining, and it's supposed to rain all day. Not good for fireworks
(it is good for all the plants in my yard though).

I am going to the fireworks tonight if it stops raining . . . I hope the Eagle is there to cuddle with during the really loud ones! And if it doesn't stop raining, I'll just stay home and enjoy Springie's pic some more.

That sounds similar to what we had on July 1st for Canada Day LB.
Luckily it cleared enough for Fireworks where we were although in some towns they were to be cancelled until today.
