Gel Sadra ...was a boy?

I found this ep on Youtube. It's at the end of the Gatch 2 series!

Las cinco estrellas del águila 6/7

At 2:53 Pandora holds the portrait of a boy, Marco telling he is her son!

From the Eagle Riders I saw Gel Sadra (Mallanox) was a blonde little girl!

In fact, I don't remember seeing this scene in the ER series! Was there an additional footage of Gatch 2? I'm so confused!

Hi all!

What you've found is from Heroes del Espacio,a weird mutant version of some of Gatchaman II created in Korea and exported to Spain, which is where the video you found is from. We discussed is some a couple of months ago in this thread:

Gatchaman and BOTP Spinoffs/Tributes Week

Still, it's awesome that you found this, Amy. They have the entire episode on Youtube! I'm going to watch it right now!

Thanks AMy!

OMG.... this is Gatchaman in Bizarro World! I am pound at X's disco lights! And what a finale! I can't even tell what episodes they lifted Tatsunoko footage from, it's so chopped up!

And that theme song... awesome! thumbsup2 ROFL 2

Their own animation is pretty good.... far better than Sandy Frank!

Since when can the Swan Cycle go underwater? Why didn't poor Jun drown?

And there's that whole Gatch I scene with the bar fight... done in Gatch II? Where did they get that footage? Did they draw it themselves????

Ooh... flirting between Joe and Jun! In the middle of a fight, no less!

Is it my imagination, or is Jun curvier/bustier in her civilian clothes?

What did they do, condense the entire Gatch II series into 90 minutes? I see a whole bunch of different episodes here!

I'm off to watch more!

Good find, Amy! I'd heard of this "Heroes del Espacio" but I'd never seen it.

Haha...too funny! I was about to ask where the Joe/ Jun flirting scene was...I found it, though!

Thanks James! Now, do you know if they had a mutant Heroes del Espacio version of Gatch F?

Not that I've ever seen, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. What we've got here has confirmed one thing -- that the speculation that this was the Eagle 5 Brothers series from the mid-1990s is indeed correct. The version here has a complete opening credits, including the Korean logo. This logo matches the logo design used on the Korean Eagle 5 Brothers merchandise that came out when the series was airing in Korea.

Sadly, since we have almost no broadcast information for this series beyond the Korean network that aired it, there's no telling how many episodes it actually ran and if it went beyond the ending that we have here. Some of the merchandise released in Korea for the series was decidedly Gatchaman Fighter based, so it is possible that they did their own version of that series as well. But, with no solid evidence to prove it either way, the best I can say is, "Maybe."

One of the scenes in this 'episode' was from one of the Gatch F episodes. It doesn't involve the Team, but some fighters flying over an island that are shot down by a mecha. I don't remember which Gatch F episode it was in, because it was chopped into an Eagle Rider's episode out of sequence.

They also included a redone scene from the first series, so they obviously lifted from wherever they needed to for their story (And showing that the studio likely did the work farmed out to Korea for the first series as well, since they probaby had the storyboards to work from). Now, if Egobossler turned up, then I'd believe they did their own version of Gatchaman Fighter.
