Meesa back....

It's been a while since I last logged and now I feel so confused around, with all those new topics and new members.

Amy says welcome to all new Gatchamaniacs!

Oh, well, university takes a lot of time, and there's this whole thing with stepping into adulthood and lot of responsabilities......

#Amy cries and runs back to diapers#

Anyway, I missed you all! I'll try to stay around more and get in touch with the chat here whenever my schedule allows.

Now give me a big hug, I need one!

Cheers,
Amy

Amy! Good to see you here! Huggles

I remember, starting university was one of the biggest changes in my life -it was twice as much work as high school, and in the summers I had to get a job instead of hanging out at beaches all day, every day. Sigh... But it was worth it, for the experiences and the independence.

What sort of classes have you been taking?

Thank you guys! You made my day!

Yup, I was at a loss at the beginning, because I had no idea how student life is, I got new mates I had to get to know and the courses are so much different from the higschool classes I was used with.

And there's a lot to learn for the exams. I passed the first session and I have two more weeks till I start the second one, so that means an Internet break Crying1

Lb, so far I haven't got a job, I'm barely in my first year and the Pharmacy last 5 years. I feel like a convict.

As for what we're studying, well, we learn about plants! 99,5 medicines on the market have their active ingredients extracted from a plant.
And physics and a lot of chemistry!

Hi Amy!!! And here I was thinking you'd hitched up with Ego, and decided being overlord of Galactor was overrated and left the planet...

Pharmacy? I'm impressed! That's a rigorous program, for sure, but I believe there's lots of good careers in that field. Me, I lasted a year and a half as a Chemistry major before I switched to History. I only had jobs, as a university student, in the summers when I wasn't taking any classes -I mostly worked in offices, answering phones and filing stuff, and wishing I was 17 and back in Nova Scotia, at the beach.

Wave2 Hi Amy!! Glad to see you back and to hear that things are going well with University. It is a big transition from high school, but once you learn the balance between classes/studying and having some fun, it's great! Hope to see you around more - or whenever you have the chance!
