Jingai Makyo

I was wondering if anybody here heard of this game, played it and understood it to an extent to where they can flesh out the story? Just asking.....

Thanks to you, I have heard of it now. There's a little bit about it at wikipedia, but you've probably seen that.

It does sound interesting, but there's apparently no version in English, so I'd have some trouble playing it.

Very interesting...never heard of it, but I'd like to see some visuals of the characters...

I kinda confused this with Saya no Uta, a game that was recently translated into English by fans.

Sounds interesting. While I haven't played a game like this in ages, for a single geek like me, they can be an enjoyable guilty pleasure.

Anime like Utawarerumono(say that 3 times fast) and Fate/stay Night were based of their Visual Novel counterparts.
