Astroboy trailer

My DH and I were watching Twilight last night, and imagine my surprise when the previews were on and my DH says, 'What's the movie by Imagi?' Well of course I'm all excited (even though deep down I know there's *no way* it's what I'm hoping for) but it turned out to be a small Astroboy trailer.

If anyone's interested in seeing this, it was the Blu-Ray version of Twilight. Although if the trailer is there, I suspect it's on some movie trailer website by now too.

I did check out hulu.com, and there is a lot of the original Astroboy there, as well as an older, 48 second trailer (listed on the left side).

Is this the "new" animated series trailer?

I have the DVD set at home. Joshie is a HUGE Astroboy fan and I have the original series box set as well as the one done a few years back...

I love the animation of the newer Astro, but the storyline and the back history just aren't right to me. I cant get into it like I do the old one.

Josh watches the new one only for the opening song (I refuse to watch the dubbed version, so he listens to the Japanese tracks) ... Other than that, he doesn't like it too much.

I really, really, really, want to see Imagi's version of Astroboy ... But, like I am with Gatchaman, am worried as to how well they'll pull it off.

I'd love to see the trailer, though ....

For those who are interested, we went to see Monsters vs. Aliens this weekend, and there was a much longer Astroboy trailer shown in front.

Wow... I'm starting to fantasize about Gatchaman trailers... Big Grin
