X-Men Origins - Wolverine

Before The Watchmen film started, I saw a trailer for X-Men Origins - Wolverine and found out earlier today that it wasn't a prequal or anything to do with the X-Men film triolgy, even though it stars Hugh Jackson as Logan.

At this news, I feel a bit dismayed, but will hold back any comments until I see the film itself.

Same here, I did like as wolverine. There is something very sexy about Hugh Jackman.... (And he lives in Sydney, what more can I girl ask for.) To me he's Condorish...

I see, so you like Condors and Wolvervines. Hhhhhmmmm interesting mixture. Maybe an artist or/and writer can draw or/and write a fic about you, the Condor and Wolvervine.

Oh ... BTW

Great movie...

If you are a fan of the original two movies and love the idea of a nekkid Hugh Jackman - I totally recommend it.

I think I could stand to see some of this in birdstyle . . .

He even has a sense of humor . . .

Good pics!

He'd have a little trouble convincingly portraying an 18 year old Condor, but otherwise, nice!

Now that I think about it... I saw him host the Academy Awards, and now I'm thinking he'd be very, very good for "Gatchman: The Broadway Musical." Laugh2

True about his age . . . but I am having a hard time coming up with an 18-yr-old star that has the rugged, life-worn quality we associate with Joe. He is not just an ordinary "bad boy" - he has already lived some hard times but is still a teen.

Now, a musical version . . . that I had not considered. Is there tap dancing? Maybe there is -- from Berg Katse!!

Honestly, if they ever were to do a live action, they would have to have them older than their teens.

The wowsers these days who wish to ban Peter Pan and Alice in wonderland (because of drug use) as well as eliminate all of the nekkid cherubs from the renaissance (because they are nekkid children and that is porn -- i shit you not!) and, of course, ban such masterpieces as Romeo and Juliette (because is has underage nookie in it) ... Would have a COW at kids going to war....

I won't go into the anti fairy tail movement...

Unless it is a Disney "Kids" movie ...

Personally I'd love to see them in their twenties in a live action ...

Along with a chorus line of dancing goons -perfect!

"Rugged, life-worn quality" -well said! I agree that it would be very hard to find an 18 year old actor for Joe's part. So many teenagers in movies are played by actors well into their 20s, and I think that would be the way to go here.

It does seem like there's a formula that the first film version of an old TV animated show is an "origins" story -but that's not carved in stone. A movie could have an original story that introduces the team as seasoned fighters well into their 20s who have been fighting for years.

I think that wold be the way to go for a live action version.

There was a big article in mum n dads sunday paper on Hugh with loads of pics. Some very condoresque moody shots in leather on a very nice Triumph bike. Twas yummy.
