--- one of those days... (http://www.gatchamania.net/threadid.php?threadid=2329)

one of those days...

When even tho you have tons of work that needs doing, and doing yesterday, you really really just cant be bothered. Anything is better than doing the work you are meant to, clearing out the desk, re organising drawers... Ive been in work since 8am Ive answered some emails but all Ive done today is try and find fan subs of Gatch II and Fighter. I even tried eagle riders.

I'm sure I'll catch up tomorrow, unless of course the paperclips need sorting into size order.

Heh, I have days like that, and Gatchdom certainly provides a multitude of ways to procrastinate...

Sometimes, drinking strong coffee and listening to techno music can shake me out of it.

No the ultimate is putting your boxes of supplies into alphabetical order, figuring it will make them easier to find. Of course I subdivided first, supplies for the children to use in the classroom (pencils, markers, crayons) and supplies only I will be using (pens, folders, index cards,) Oh and White-out bottles and bottles of White-Out. Not sure who ordered all of this stuff but they made a mistake and ordered 10 boxes instead of 10 bottles.

Things picked up yesterday afternoon, I changed my desk top pic, but I feel the lethargy on me again to day.
There are invoice queries to be sorted, engineers booked into MOD sites its nearly month end and the accounts need doing..... which will I do first? Well I thought I'd get some coffee, choke down a slim fast shake and then colour in all the zero's on my mouse mat calander.

I know those days as well. At the moment at work, though, I am out of work. I'm reduced to going through the filing cabinet and making the filing neat!!!!!

Working for the government, all the good (read "Gatch") sites are blocked, so I can't even waste time doing that.

On the plus, I've been given a project to write proceedures for all Project Administrators in Qld Emergency Services - based on what I do and the reports and records I keep.

Apparently, the big bosses like that I can produce whatever they want within an hour of the request being made.

Ahhh the F.T.D. days... How many of those I have at work...

Sometimes I find there is no cure and the day drags on and on and on ... I sympathize muchly and will for the hands on that clock to move fast!!

Hey, Maddy ... You scared me there for a minute when you said you were out of work. I am jealous that you get to write prodedures and stuff -- I LOVE doing those!! But did you say "an hour" to do it??

Sheesh .... that's not right ...

What are my chances of asking you to write me one of your glorious fics in the same timeframe??
