Transmutations

Okies, so - I have been watching Eagle Riders, and noticed something.

During Gatch II, the bits in G-Town where we see the team assemble - do we only ever see Ken transmute? Or, come to think of it, elsewhere in the series?

There is a scene from a fighter ep where we see all of the guys transmute at once. It's ER episode 56. Here's a pic from my ER site:

I can't think of any others off the top of my head, but I'm sure someone will remind me, if necessary... Wink

Well duh!!! I made an animation of Ryu transforming from ER ep 60 (also a Fighter ep):

There have to be others...

Hi all!

Yes, there are others.

In Gatchaman II, we see transformation scenes in the following episodes:

#3 - Ken
#5 - Ken
#16 - Joe
#34 - Ken
#39 - Joe
#40 - Ken
In this instance, Ken does not actually say "Bird Go!" when he transforms.
#45 - Ken

There are also two times when we see characters transform from Bird Style into civilian clothes:

#31 - Ken
Ken's Bird Suit changes back to civilian clothing, but not at his command. It does so because of damage to his bracelet.

#30 - Ryu
Ryu yelled "Bird Out!" to transform instead of repeating "Bird Go!" as Ken did in Gatchaman #2,

And, before anyone asks, characters transformed in Gatchaman Fighter in the following episodes:

#14 - Joe, Jun, Jinpei
All three transformed simultaneously
#14 - Ken
Ken also transformed in this episode, but he did so separately from the others
#21 - Joe
#28 - Ken
Ken says "Bird Go," but Ken, Joe, Jinpei and Ryu are all shown changing at this point.
#33 - Ryu
#34 - Ken, Joe, Jun, Jinpei and Ryu
All five transformed simultaneously
#38 - Jinpei

Episode #38 also has Jinpei transform from Bird Style back to civilian clothes, which happens after his Bracelet is taken off of his wrist.

I find it interesting that I "think" they transmute in every eps. and yet obviously they do not.
